Trust and Foundation school seminars - January 2009

The Trust and Foundation Schools Partnership (TFSP) is holding a series of seminars to introduce schools and their partners to Trust and Foundation Schools. It will also prepare schools to submit an expression of interest to enter the next wave of the supported schools programme.

What will be covered

The seminar will include:

An overview of Trust and Foundation schools
Examples of operational Trust schools and how they are using their partners
Opportunities to address the vision, focus and potential partners for a Trust
Opportunities to discuss issues related to becoming a Foundation school
Sessions for sharing practice and listening to other practitioners
Time for personal planning
Advice and guidance on completing the expression of interest to join the supported schools programme

Booking information

There will be no charge for attending the seminar but places will be allocated on a first come - first served basis. Schools will be able to send up to two delegates to one seminar, and headteachers are encouraged to invite a governor or an external partner to attend with them.

To secure a place at a seminar, please go to www.schoolsnetwork.org.uk and go to date and time of the seminar you wish to book and complete the online form. If you do not have a login for the schools network website you will need to register before you can access the website.
